Movie Review of the Week #31

It’s a been a while since I last saw a movie especially because this season appears to have a good list of dramas coming out but since yesterday I didn’t feel like watching a drama I decided I should get back to watching movies so here I am with another movie review since like forever, lol

This weeks movie review is…

A Ghost of a Chance

A Ghost of a Chance

Plot: Emi Hosho (Eri Fukatsu), a not so successful lawyer, is assigned to the one of the most unusual of cases. Her client is accused of murdering his wealthy wife and he his alibi is that he was staying at an inn while suffering from “kanashibar” (sleep paralysis). The only witness able to corroborate his alibi is the 500-year-old ghost of the Sengoku period military commander Rokubei Sarashina (Toshiyuki Nishida) – who sat on the accused’s chest all night long. Attorney Emi Hosho travels to the inn to investigate further. Emi Hosho also falls into “kanashibar” and soon discovers the 500-year-ghost sitting on her chest. Knowing that the ghost is the only witness who can support her client’s alibi, she grabs his hand and pleads with him to testify in court ….(cre:dramacrazy)

Yup you’ve guess right it’s a Japanese movie, I was gonna watch my little hero but it didn’t come with eng subs so I wasn’t able to watch and since I had this on my to watch next movie list I decided to watch it. I’m glad I did, I wasn’t sure what to expect at first when watching this movie for example how much wackiness but in the end it wasn’t too much. It had the right amount of wackiness/silliness and it didn’t really overpower the rest of the movie. I would really recommend this movie it has the right touch of comedy, it has a good story line and the actors did an amazing job with their characters. If I had to give it a rating then I would give it a 4/5 and would definitely recommend as a much watch.
